LOS ANGELES

The City of Angels, I finally made it! I remember when I was around 13, I had my bags packed, a ticket bought from my hardly earned Summer job money and was ready to take off. Unfortunately, I didn’t make it to the Airport because of a very convincing friend. And now, 10 years later, I’m finally here.

LA itself is not a dashing city, but it has it’s spots spread all over the huge cake. Naturally, one of the most famous is Venice Beach, but there are also other places I really liked a lot. For example there’s a China Town, a Koreatown and a little Tokyo! Let’s get into it!

FRANCISCO

Frisco is an amazing and beautiful city, I’m sure you will enjoy your stay. Even though they have a lot of homeless people, you don’t realize this as much as in Los Angeles. The streets are wonderful with the buildings just like in Full House and the rolling hills, give something dynamic to the golden city. Most of the things on the list below, you find on every other one too, but I truly think these are worth to see. As always, I try to make it itinerary style-like, so you can visit a few things in the same area to save time and get the best out of your trip.

You can easily spend four or more days in San Francisco.

SANTA BARBARA

I enjoyed my stay in Santa Barbara a lot and stayed two days longer then actually planned. Santa Barbara is about 1h45 north from LA by car. If you are staying in LA you can also take a Greyhound Bus. Otherwise drive along the coast and stop at some beaches. Also, Malibu is a famous spot along the route, especially for surfers. You can hang out at the Farmers Market in Malibu, go to the beach, surf or chill until sunset and then arrive at night in Santa Barbara.
