About ME

Hi!

I'm Mara, thanks for visiting my blog! I will be traveling around the world for the next years and explore amazing places in different countries! I am always seeking Adventures, Good Food, Martial Arts Experiences, Unique and sometimes Weird Stuff. \(^o^)/

ADELAIDE

Adelaide is a laid-back Town and the capital city of South Australia. When I was in Adelaide, a heatwave took over and the temperature rose to 43 degrees celsius. Needless to say, that I was almost burnt alive, when I set foot out of the door. I stayed only 3 days in the city and couldn't explore as much as I wanted. I literally spent the days in the gyms and ice cream shops. I will include the original To-Do List below, so you do all the stuff when you get the chance to explore Adelaide.

STAY TUNED!

You only receive a Newsletter if you choose the Option in the confirmation Mail!

Another 14h Bus ride from Melbourne and I arrived in the sleepy Town, Adelaide, the capital city of South Australia. On the way nothing and more nothing passed by the window. The landscape barely changed and there was no civilization in sight beside the Road Houses where our bus stopped. SHOPPING!

Yes I did it, I went shopping. Although I didn't really buy anything so I enjoyed the air-conditioned insides of the shopping buildings along the HINDLEY STREET, like the RUNDLE MALL.

CHINATOWN

Yup! There is a China Town, with a looooot of BUBBLE TEA, Chinese and other International Restaurants just like many different ICE CREAM places!

ADELAIDE CENTRAL MARKET

Is located in China Town and luckily there was a roof over the whole market. It has everything from food to clothes to a Korean Food Store!

ADELAIDE'S GREEN SPOTS

Adelaide has amazingly beautiful green places like the ADELAIDE BOTANIC GARDEN, ADELAIDE HIMEJI GARDEN, COBBLER CREEK RECREATION PARK.

KARRAWIRRA PARRI

Around the Karrawirra Parri River are several points of interest like the CONVENTION CENTER and the OVAL STADION, where you can do a roofclimb, just like the huge POSSUM PARK.

JAM FACTORY

No, not a Jam Factory as I thought when I saw the building, but a pretty cool Craft Shop, with free Exhibitions. I really thought I could make some Jam there but ended up taking a free tour.

SWEAT IN STYLE

My gym was in one of the old buildings spread over 4 Floors, which was pretty amazing. The bench press under a chandelier, is something you don't see every day.

Check out how I stay fit during my Journeys.
